The Central Board of Secondary Education has issued an important notice regarding the submission of the list of candidates for the upcoming board exams in 2026. All the schools affiliated with CBSE have to ensure that they submit accurate data of all the students in classes 10th and 12th on time, as the LOC submitted to the CBSE will only be allowed to sit in the examination.
CBSE introduced a two-board examination policy for class 10th students for the academic year 2025-26. The board examination for class 10th is scheduled in mid-February 2026. All the schools are supposed to submit the list of candidates by September 30th.
Important Guidelines for Schools
All the basic details of students, like their full name, date of birth, and parents' names, along with subject combinations in line with the prescribed Scheme of Studies, need to be cross-verified. From the academic year 2025-26, the APAAR IDs of every student need to be created for all Indian students.
The notice also states the importance of mentioning the Students with special needs. No corrections to be made once the submission has been made.
All the submissions are to be made online on the official website of CBSE, and the final authorisation by school heads is mandatory, along with photo upload, followed by verification, and fee payment.
