The Bihar School Examination Board has now officially started the application process for the Bihar Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) program for the academic year of 2026 to 2028. Bihar DElEd Admissions 2026: Eligibility and Qualifications
It is necessary for the candidates to have secured at least 50% marks in their 12th standard to be eligible for the examination. The applicants of the reserved categories are allowed 5% relaxation in the required marks. If any candidate passes a Maulvi exam with 50% or more marks, he/she is also eligible to apply. Every candidate must be 17 years old on or before January 1 of the admission year.
The minimum marks that the candidates belonging to the unreserved category must secure are 35%. On the other hand, those belonging to the reserved category must obtain at least 30% to qualify.
Bihar DElEd Admissions 2026: Exam Pattern
The 2026 Bihar DElEd Joint Entrance Exam will have 120 objective-type questions for 1 mark each, with a time limit of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
