The AP POLYCET (Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance examination conducted annually for admission into diploma-level engineering, non-engineering, and technology programmes. The exam is organised by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Vijayawada. It is recognised as the gateway to both government-aided and private polytechnic colleges, including second-shift engineering institutions.

Candidates eager to know their allotted college must follow these steps:

Step 2: Click on the seat allotment result link on the homepage
Step 3: Log in using the credentials (hall ticket number, password, date of birth)
Step 4: View and download the seat allotment result
The seat allotment process is based on candidates’ ranks, category, preferences submitted during counselling, and seat availability. Once the result is downloaded, candidates are required to pay a seat confirmation fee via E-challan at a designated bank branch before reporting to their allotted college.
AP POLYCET 2025 Reporting and Admission Process
According to the revised schedule, candidates must report to their respective colleges between 10 and 14 July 2025 to complete the admission formalities. This involves providing the seat allotment letter, bank challan, and all other necessary documents as part of the submission process. Notably, document verification was already completed during the counselling process, so candidates are not required to undergo this step again at the college.
