Jagdish Sheth School of Management (JAGSoM) is a business school located with campuses at Bengaluru and Mumbai, and a legacy of over three decades in management education. It was established in 1995, and the Bangalore and Mumbai campuses are approved and accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & University Grant Commission (UGC), respectively. The name of the school is after Padma Bhushan Dr. Jagdish Sheth, a globally renowned thought leader and professor at Emory University.
The institute is also recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). JAGSoM has received accreditations such as AACSB, SAQS, and NBA, and is also certified by ISO 9001:2008. The institute operates from two campuses, one in Bangalore and the other in Greater Mumbai. The Bangalore campus is spread over 1.5 acres of land, including modern facilities, while the nearby 2.2-acre campus offers housing, a library, computer labs, and an auditorium for students.
The Bengaluru campus offers AICTE-approved, AIU-accredited PGDM programs, while the Mumbai campus offers the MBA under Vijaybhoomi University. Jagdish Sheth School of Management Admission 2026
JAGSoM offers two management program courses. One of them is the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at its Bengaluru campus, which is approved by AICTE and AIU and equivalent to an MBA with an AI-integrated curriculum, and another is the Master of Business Administration (MBA) at its Mumbai campus (Vijaybhoomi University), which focuses on leadership, innovation, and multidisciplinary learning.
The specialisation of PGDM course at Bengaluru in General Management, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, International Business, and Data Science & Business Analytics.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks from a recognised university, and final-year students can also apply. Admission is based on valid scores in CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, CMAT, or JAGMAT, followed by a Stimulation, and Personal Interview as part of the Admission Selection Process (ASP). For the CAT entrance exam, applicants can apply from August 2026 (Tentative) to September 2026 (Tentative), while XAT applications 2026 will continue till 5 December 2026. Admission through the ATMA entrance exam started in July 2026, and the MAT registration 2025 last date is September 2026.

JAGSoM Eligibility Criteria
JAGSoM offers admission to its PGDM programs based on specific eligibility criteria related to academic qualifications, entrance exam scores, and performance in the selection process. Interested candidates must meet the following requirements to apply:
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognised university with 50% marks.
Students who are in the final year of their graduation can also apply, but they must complete their degree before the program starts.
Applicants need to have a valid score in exams like CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, NMAT, CMAT, or JAGMAT.
For the PGDM General program, only CAT, XAT, or GMAT scores are accepted, and the candidate must have at least the 60th percentile in the following exams.
For other PGDM specialisations and the International Business program, scores from MAT, CMAT, NMAT, ATMA, PGCET, or GMAT are also accepted.
Based on entrance exam scores, candidates are shortlisted for the Admission Selection Process (ASP).
The ASP includes a Simulation and a Personal Interview.
Work experience is not compulsory, but it is considered during the selection process if available.
