National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test : NEET 2025 Counselling Schedule, Dates, Registration, Fees
NEET 2025 Counselling: NEET Counselling is the procedure which helps meritorious students get admission into Indian medical and dental colleges according to their NEET scores. The NEET Counselling Process is organized by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government medical and dental colleges, central universities, and deemed universities. On the other hand, state quota seat counselling is organized by the concerned state authorities in their respective states.
The purpose of the NEET counselling is to distribute seats equally and transparently according to merit, reservation rules, and candidate choices. Candidates who qualified for NEET, having met the minimum cut-off scores defined by the National Testing Agency (NTA), are eligible to apply for counselling. Students from other categories, such as General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PwD candidates, are allowed to participate according to MCC-defined eligibility criteria and state governments.
NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) counselling 2025 is the main admission process for medical aspirants seeking admission into MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS courses, conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota (AIQ) seats and respective State Authorities for State Quota seats.
The main objective of NEET Counselling 2025 is to allocate seats in medical and dental colleges across India based on merit and reservation policies.

However, MCC conducts the NEET counselling process for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, including seats in Deemed Universities, Central Universities, ESIC, and AFMC colleges.
