NEET Cutoff 2025: The NEET Cutoff represents the minimum score needed for the candidate to qualify for the AIIMS, JIPMER, and other medical colleges in courses like MBBS and BDS. The expected NEET cutoff 2025 range for this year is 720-162 for General and 161-127 for OBC/SC/ST candidates. However, the official NEET 2025 cutoff will be released by NTA along with the exam results by 14 June 2025 on the official website.

The NEET cutoff is the minimum score required for candidates to qualify and secure admission to medical and dental colleges in India.  The Cutoff will be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) based on multiple factors including exam difficulty, the number of candidates appearing for the NEET exam, and overall performance. The NEET 2025 cutoff will be released on 14 June 2025 on the official website @neet.nta.nic.in.

In other words, it is like a deciding factor in the admission process as only candidates who meet or exceed the NEET cutoff can participate in counseling and secure seats in medical colleges.

Different institutes have varying cutoffs based on seat availability, category reservations, and other preferences. Generally, the NEET cutoff for Government colleges is higher than the private ones due to competition. Additionally, the cutoff varies depending on the candidate’s category.
