Raipur Kalinga University offers admission to a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes across various fields of disciplines such as Commerce & Management, Information Technology, Science & Technology, Arts & Humanities, Law, Pharmacy and Education. The eligibility criteria each candidate needs to fulfil to get admission in any particular course vary significantly.

For undergraduate programmes like BBA, B.Com, B.Sc (Computer Science), BCA and other related courses, candidates must have completed their Class 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised state or central education board. A minimum aggregate of 50% marks is required and the reserved category is eligible with 45% marks.

For postgraduate programmes such as MBA, MCA, M.Sc, LLM and others, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised university or institute. The degree should meet the minimum marks criteria set by the university for each programme.

All candidates, whether applying for undergraduate, postgraduate or doctoral courses, are required to appear for the Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE). KALSEE is a computer-based, multiple-choice examination that assesses general aptitude, reasoning, English proficiency and subject-specific knowledge.

For UG courses, 3-year, 4-year and 5-year programs had median packages of INR 6. 3 LPA, INR 9. 70 LPA and INR 10. 70 LPA, respectively. However, for PG courses, 1-year and 2-year programs had median packages of INR 9 LPA and INR 9. 3 LPA, respectively.

As per the 2022-23 placement report, around 1,381 students got placed, achieving a placement rate of 74.73%. Merit Scholarships are awarded based on the overall percentage a student has achieved in their qualifying examination. However, Entrance Examination Scholarships are awarded to the students who have scored well in competitive exams such as UGAT, JEE, CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, CMAT, NEET and many others.
