IIT Madras Admission Process 2026
Aspiring candidates can apply for JEE Mains, IIT JAM or GATE exam for admission to UG, PG or PhD courses. JEE Mains Session 2 exams have concluded for the academic year 2026. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to IIT Madras UG courses is Class 12, and PG courses are Graduation.
IIT Madras Admission 2026
IIT Madras application process has begun for its UG, PG, Dual Degree and Doctoral Programs. Admission to IIT Madras UG, PG and PhD programs is based on candidates' performance in Class 12, Graduation and Entrance Exams. For BTech admissions, after qualifying the IIT Advanced exam, candidates are required to participate in the JoSAA Counselling round and based on their rank, they can choose the college for pursuing BTech program.
IIT Madras Application Process
Initially, IIT Madras requires candidates to register for and appear in relevant entrance exams, like JEE Main for BTech, IIT JAM for MSc, GATE for MTech and CAT for MBA.
