The placement drives are conducted annually at IIT Madras campus based on the students’ performance and skills. The top recruiting companies of IIT Madras include Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Deloitte, and  Goldman Sachs. 

The placement process of IIT Madras is mentioned below: 

•  The recruitment process starts in July and ends in May. 

• An independent body, the Career Development Cell, focuses on all-around preparation of students for the placement process. 

• The registration process starts in August. Other activities, such as Pre-Placement Talks and aptitude and Technical Tests, will start in September and November.

With a placement rate of 90% for BTech and Dual-Degree Programs, IIT Madras has set a benchmark for its other counterparts.
