IIT Bombay offers UG, PG, PhD, and Dual degree courses such as BTech, BDes, BS, MTech, MDes, MPP, MBA, MS (R), MTech+PhD, MA+PhD, etc., in several disciplines like Aerospace Engineering, CE, Civil Engineering, CSE, EE, ME, Metallurgical Engineering, Operation Research, etc. UG courses span across 4 years, PG courses take 2 to 3 years to complete, while Dual Degree courses are of 5 years.
The eligibility criteria and IIT bombay fees structures of these courses also differ depending on the course. Students opting for admission to IIT Bombay are required to pay a one-time mandatory admission fee, which ranges between INR 8,750 and INR 9,200. The minimum tuition fee range for any course starts from INR 5,350 to INR 3,73,750. Some of the flagship IIT courses are B.Tech and MTech, which require a national-level entrance exam score like JEE Advanced and GATE, respectively.
Candidates are required to satisfy the basic eligibility criteria for admission, i.e, Class 12 for UG admissions and a Bachelor’s degree for PG admissions. Admission to IIT Bombay MTech programs requires a valid GATE score, followed by the institute’s selection process. IIT Bombay PhD admission is possible after the completion of a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline, followed by the written test and an interview.
