
IIM Calcutta fees vary for different courses depending on the specialisation and the duration of the course. The fees of the course cover the tuition fees and other things like course books, incidental expenses, cost of the hostel, immersion programme and tickets for an economy flight.
Indian Institute of Management Calcutta fees do not cover the miscellaneous charges of food, personal expenses, electricity bill, etc. These payments have to be made by the student only.

IIM Calcutta course, i.e. MBA, is the flagship programme of the IIM Calcutta. The duration of the programme is 2 years. IIM Calcutta placements of MBA are stellar with the highest package of the batch 2025 going over INR 1 CR. the fee structure for the programme is not available at the moment.
The fees for international students are USD 65,000 for two years which will include tuition fees and hostel fees. The students will also be required to pay the caution deposit of INR 20,000.

Indian Institute of Management Calcutta fees for PhD is exempted. The students enrolled in the PhD programme do not have to pay the tuition fees. The students get the stipend of INR 42,000 per month at the Pre-CQE and INR 45,000 per month Post-CQE which goes up to INR 50,000 after the post-thesis proposal.
Along with this, students can also avail of INR 1,05,000 for the student development grant in the first year. And for the following years students will get INR 35,000 per year for the student development grant. Students can use these grants for expenses related to the research like buying books, computers, attending academic conferences etc.
The students will also get INR 75,000 if their research includes fieldwork and students are also encouraged to take up teaching assistant positions that pay up to INR 42,000 per course depending on the experience of the student. This salary will be in addition to the stipend that the candidate is already getting.
The married students get INR 15,000 of HRA and single students get INR 10,000. Students belonging to the reserved category of ST can also apply for the “National Fellowship & Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students”
Note- the stipends and grants are given only for the first 4 years of study and can be extended up to 1 year if the student has shown good progress in their research work.
The PhD Executive course fee structure is INR 25,00,000. It includes all the research-based academic activities, library membership fees and tuition fees. These fees however do not cover the travel cost or any other allowances. Those expenses have to be incurred by the student individually.

The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta fees for PGDBA for the batch of 2025-27 are INR 25,00,000. The fee could be paid in 4 instalments at the time of registration for each semester. The students will also have to pay the caution money of INR 10,000. The programme fee includes tuition fees, books, on campus accommodation, study materials, laboratory charges, and many more.
The cost of the food, travel and miscellaneous expenses will have to be paid by the students only. The programme will not cover it.
The tuition fees of the CEMS Master’s in International Management are exempted for the students. The students have to incur the cost of living there which would be around Euros 300 for the entire term for CEMS if the student decides to live in the non-ac room. The cost for books, study materials and other infrastructure activities and facilities would come around euros 300. The block seminar will also cost around euros 300.
