All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna is a government medical institute established in 2012. It was previously known as Jaya Prakash Narayan All India Institute of Medical Sciences (JPNAIIMS). AIIMS Patna has been recognised as the Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. AIIMS Patna is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and Nursing Council (INC). AIIMS Patna is ranked at 25th in NIRF Rankings 2024 in the Medical Category.
