TNPSC Group 2 Results Declared: Check Your Result Now

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the results for the Group 2 and Group 2A 2025 mains examinations on 05 May 2025. Applicants can view and download the results on the official website www.tnpsc.gov.in. 

The Group 2 (Interview Posts) selection process consists of three stages:

• Preliminary Exam
• Main Written Exam
• Interview/Personality Test

The Group 2A is for Non-Interview Posts such as Assistants, Clerks and officers in different state department. This group only includes only a written test for the recruitment process.

How to download the TNPSC Group 2 Result online

To download the TNPSE group 2 results, candidates need to follow the following steps:- 

1. The candidate must visit the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission’s official website: www.tnpsc.gov.in to download the TNPSC result 2025 for group 2 and group 2A. 
2. Now, on the homepage, click on the “Results” tab, which can be found in the main menu. Click on it to see the latest result announcements for TNPSC Group 2.
3. Click on the tab named “Group 2 Mains Result 2025” and then the login page interface will appear. 
4. On the login page, input your Registration Number according to the admit card and Date of Birth.
5. After filling out all the information, click on the submit button. your result will appear on the screen. The result will contain information like rank number, marks obtained. Click the download button to save a PDF copy, and print it for future reference and use during interviews and document verification.

TNPSC Group 2 Interview Preparation Tips

After the declaration of results, selected candidates need to prepare themselves for the interview round, in which their personality, critical thinking, and other factors will be evaluated. Here are the essential tips for the candidates to prepare for the interview round:-

• Candidates are advised to focus on Tamil Nadu government schemes, state policies, recent national/international news, and more general knowledge section for the interview.
• It is important to learn about responsibilities, challenges, and functions of the post you're aiming for.
• Focusing on Indian polity, Tamil Nadu governance, economy, and administrative structure can be helpful for the interview round for Group 2 posts. 
• Candidates can also practice with coaching institutes or online portals to build confidence and improve speaking skills.
• Speak confidently and respectfully while giving the interview.
• Interviewees should wear formal attire, which gives a simple and neat appearance and leaves a good impression.
