The Directorate of Government Education, Chennai, has released the official timetable for Tamil Nadu Board Exams 2026 for SSLC (Class 10) and Plus Two (Class 12). The class 12 board examination for the year 2026 will start from 2nd March to 26 March 2026, whereas the examination of class 10 will be scheduled from 11 March to 6 April 2026. The exam timetable has been released through the official press release, and students can check it by visiting the Directorate of Government Education, Tamil Nadu website.
At the same time, the TN DGE also scheduled the class 12 practicals exam, which will be conducted from 9 February to 14 February. The class 10 practicals are scheduled from 23 February to 28 February 2026.

The timetable for the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Second Year Class 12 examination, which will be completed in three parts with different subjects, is as follows:

Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary First Year (Class 11) Examination Timetable 2026

For all the board classes (10th and 12th) of Tamil Nadu, the exam time will be from 10 am to 1:15 pm. Students are awarded 10 minutes to read the question paper from 10 am to 10:10 am, along with five minutes for verification from 10:10 am to 10:15 am. The actual writing time is from 10:15 am to 1:15 pm.
