The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is planning to hold the first stage of the NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) exam, CBT 1, in June 2025, tentatively. About 1.21 crore candidates have applied, making it one of the biggest recruitment exams. The admit card will be available 4 days before the exam, and the city intimation slip will be released 10 days before the exam. Since a large number of candidates have applied for the NTPC RRB 2025 exam, CBT 1 will probably be held in multiple shifts at different centres. Each candidate may get a different exam time based on their shift. To avoid last-minute problems, it’s better to reach the exam centre before the reporting time. Exam Pattern and Selection Process:

The CBT 1 exam will have 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQS). These questions will be divided into three sections:

The exam will be 90 minutes long. For each correct answer, you will earn 1 mark. However, for every incorrect answer, one-third of a mark will be taken off.

The selection process for RRB NTPC 2025 includes the following steps:

• CBT 1 Exam: This is a computer-based test with multiple-choice questions. It will test your general awareness, mathematics, and general intelligence.
• CBT 2 Exam: Candidates who clear CBT 1 will move on to CBT 2, which will also be a computer-based test but will be more specific to the job you applied for.
• Typing Skill Test (for certain posts): Candidates who apply for posts that require typing will need to take a typing skill test after clearing CBT 2.
• Document Verification and Medical Examination: If you pass all previous stages, you’ll be asked to show your documents and undergo a medical examination to make sure you’re fit for the job.
