National Institute of Design (NID) published the final results for the Bachelor of Design (BDes) 2025 program on May 16, 2025, upon the completion of the Design Aptitude Test (DAT). Candidates who took the exam can check their results on the official website of NID (admissions.nid.edu). Around 15,000 students took the DAT 2025 on 5 January, while only 1,200 qualified for the mains. There are a total of 425 seats available for B.Des, making it one of the most challenging exams in our nation.

National Institute of Design (NID)

The National Institute of Design (NID) is one of the most prestigious design universities in our country, recognized by our parliament as an institute of national importance. The National Institute of Design (NID) comprises seven campuses across different cities and states of India (e.g., Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Bengaluru, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Assam). 

NID conducts the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) for entrance to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the university in the field of textiles, animation, retail, etc. 

Student’s guide to downloading NID BDes 2025 final result:

  1. Go to the official website: NID admissions portal at admissions.nid.edu.

  2. Click on the result page: Click on the link titled “B.Des. Final Result,” or just click on the link. (ResultBDes2025Final.aspx.) 

  3. Enter Login Details: Type your registered email address and date of birth.

  4. Submit to View Result: Click the “Submit” button. The candidate’s final result will appear on the screen.

  5. Download and Print: Download the result and take a printout for future reference
