The Maharashtra State Board has officially published the exam timetable of the Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) board exams in the year 2026. The board has published these dates very early to assist schools, teachers, and students in planning their syllabus coverage, revision and minimize exam-related stress.
The written papers will be conducted between February 10 and March 18, 2026, in the case of the HSC (Class 12) examinations. Practical tests, viva, internal tests, and projects will be conducted between January 23 and February 9, 2026. While in the case of the SSC (Class 10) exams, the theory papers will be held between February 20 and March 18, 2026, and the practical and viva examination will be conducted between February 2 and February 18, 2026.
The timetable is much similar to the one of the last year as HSC exams were held between February 11 and March 18 and SSC exams between February 21 and March 17. The Maharashtra board is planning to publish the subject-wise schedules in detail on its official site, www.mahahsscboard.in/en, so that students could have access to all the information.
The timely notification of the board will give sufficient time to the students and teachers to arrange mock tests, complete syllabus timely, and hold revision classes. The early release is also positive to reduce the students and teachers stress and also to encourage systematic exam preparation.
