KSET Admit Card 2025: The Karnataka Exam Authority released the Hall Ticket, Download Now

The​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has finally release the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2025 admit cards on October 24, 2025, as per the expectations. Candidates looking forward to downloading their admit cards for the Assistant Professor post can now download the card at the KEA official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.  

KSET is an aspirational exam that leads to the eligibility for the assistant professor posts in universities, colleges, and educational institutions of Karnataka. The examination of this year is planned for November 2, 2025, and the timing will be from 10 a.m. to 1 ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌p.m.

How to Download the KSET Hall Ticket 2025

Candidates​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ may use the following process to get their hall tickets:

Step 1: Go to the official KEA website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. 

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate to the extreme right to find the language change option. Change it to English if you don’t understand Kananda. 

Step 3: Scroll down to the Latest announcement section and click the "KSET Hall Ticket 2025" link.

Step 4: Enter your application number, name, and Captcha to log in.

Step 5: You’ll find the admit card accessible for your reference online.

Step 6: Get a copy saved and also printed out for future reference.

Candidates are advised to check their admit cards carefully. Details such as the name, roll number, subject, exam centre, and timings should be verified. Any discrepancy must be reported immediately to the authorities. The admit card must be carried to the examination hall along with a valid photo ID proof; entry will not be permitted without it.

KSET 2025 Exam Schedule and Pattern

The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) is a crucial gateway for candidates seeking academic positions in higher education. The​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ 2025 examination will be held in person and will have two papers only with objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There will be a single session of three hours in which both the papers will be held.

• Paper I:

  • 50 compulsory questions

  • 100 marks total

The aim of this exam is to measure the research aptitude and also to test the reasoning ability, comprehension, and general awareness.

• Paper II:

  • 100 compulsory questions

  • 200 marks total

Candidates are required to indicate their answers on an Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet that accompanies the test booklet. The format of the examination is designed to assess general aptitude as well as subject knowledge, thus providing a fair means of measuring the candidates' suitability for the post of assistant ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌professor.

The candidates who will clear the KSET exam will be allowed to get appointed as assistant professors in government, aided, and private colleges and universities in Karnataka. Exam Day Guidelines

• Candidates must report to the examination centre well before the time.The​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ gates will most probably be closed half an hour before the commencement of the test.

• Make sure that you bring a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving licence, etc.).

• Never slip in an electronic device, a calculator, or any study material to the examination hall.

• On the OMR sheet, answers should be marked accurately with a black or blue ballpoint pen.

It is always good advice for candidates to locate their examination centre beforehand, so that they are not delayed on the day of the exam.

KSET Eligibility and Syllabus 

If you want to sit for KSET 2025, you need to have a master’s degree or its equivalent from a university that is recognized and have at least 55% of the total marks (50% for SC, ST, and other reserved categories). Final semester results are awaited by candidates can also apply provisionally.

Paper I deals with general aspects of teaching and research, based on which questions are asked. Comprehension, communication, reasoning, data interpretation, ICT, and higher education systems are some of the topics covered here.
