The institute has received the prestigious accreditation from the Association of MBAs, an accreditation only given to the top 2% of international management schools. AMBA accreditation, one of the highest standards of excellence for postgraduate management education, is awarded only after an extensive review process considering the lifelong careers of students, curriculum innovation, learning environment, and instruction quality.
This outstanding achievement reflects IIM Ranchi's continuing commitment to fostering academic excellence and adopting global best practices. In the Eduniversal Best Business Schools Rankings 2025, it received four Palmes of Excellence, a sign of growing international recognition. Considering the evaluation of more than 1,000 business schools against 154 other countries, this assessment award shows a significant global degree of influence.
Eduniversal Towers is a universal ranking system based on four factors that assess schools around the world: internationalisation of preparation programs, their academic reputation, hierarchy of partnership institutions and global area. All elements are ranked by peers or voting deans from around the world. In addition, one of the more prestigious levels of academic recognition happens to fall into the 4 Palmes category.
At the same time, IIM Ranchi, IIM Raipur, IIM Kashipur, and IIM Tiruchirappalli have collectively announced the Joint Admission Process (JAP) 2026 for the forthcoming academic year. IIM Raipur will oversee the process designed to facilitate and simplify admissions in a fair and equitable way. This initiative is part of the collective actions of the IIMs and demonstrates their commitment to maintaining standards.
