CBSE Academic Performance Report 2025 Released.webp

CBSE has issued the school academic performance report cards that cover the performance of schools in different classes (10th and 12th) during the academic session 2024–25. This report constitutes a school-wise performance summary of the board exams held at the secondary and senior secondary levels. In fact, the report cards are downloadable by the school administration through the CBSE school login portal.

According to the CBSE, the main objective is to enable schools to analyze their strengths and weaknesses through the provided performance reports. The report compares the school's results with various states, including performance based on gender. The participation of students in various games at the cluster and zonal levels is also shown.

Using Data for Academic Improvement

CBSE has recommended that the report be utilized by all schools in the preparation of their Annual Pedagogical Plans. With this, schools will be able to recognize their strong points and also identify those areas that require more care. The focal point of the report on the different subjects is intended to serve as a resource that schools can use to enhance student learning and formulate teaching strategies that are efficient and grounded in data to achieve higher academic outcomes.

Details on Academic Report Cards

The report card contains the major aspects:

  • An analysis of the overall performance based on the total marks scored in all subjects.

  • Comparing the results of each school with the best state and national CBSE averages.

  • Subject-wise performance summaries for the 10th and 12th classes.

  • Analysis of Boys' and Girls' Performance Comparison.

  • Details about students’ participation in sports at the cluster and zonal levels.

Performance Highlights

One of the school reports showed that the average score of Class 10 was 79.08%, which was above the average of Rajasthan by 71.12% but below the CBSE average by 88.16%. The school recorded an average of 77.11% for Class 12, which was a little less than the CBSE average of 82.72%.

The subject-wise results indicated that the students of Class 10 have an excellent performance in Artificial Intelligence (92.14%), Data Science (91.78%), and Sanskrit (86.39%), where they have gone beyond the state and national averages. In Class 12, the top performance was in Electronics and Hardware (92.67%), Informatics Practices (86.65%), and Design Thinking and Innovation (87.54%).

Gender-Wise Performance

At both 10th and 12th-grade levels, girls outperformed boys. In the 10th grade, the female students had an average score of 80.85%, whereas the males scored 78.79%. The average score for the 12th-grade girls was 78.93%, which was only marginally higher than that of the boys, being 78.84%.

Sports and Co-curricular Activities

Also, the report emphasizes students' engagement in co-curricular activities, revealing that 125 students from the school were involved in various sports, which is significantly higher than the state average of 47 and the CBSE average of 40. Apart from these, students also enthusiastically played badminton, basketball, chess, kabaddi, skating, table tennis, and volleyball, many of them competing at both the cluster and zonal levels.

CBSE states that these academic and activity-based data will lead to the schools' ability to better evaluate the overall performance and make more efficient changes in teaching and learning.
