The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the supplementary exam datesheet for Class 10 and Class 12 students for the academic year 2024 - 25. This announcement will be a second chance for students who either could not clear one or more subjects in the regular board exams or wish to improve their scores.

According to the schedule released by the conducting body, CBSE, the Class 10 supplementary exams will be held from July 15 to July 22, 2025, while the Class 12 supplementary exam will be conducted on a single day, that is, July 15, 2025

CBSE Exam Schedule Highlights

  • For Class 10 Exams: The Class 10th supplementary exam will begin on July 15 with subjects like Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence. Other major subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, Social Science, and Hindi will follow on subsequent days.

  • For Class 12 Exam: All subjects across Science, Commerce, and Arts streams will be conducted on July 15 in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Note that the duration of each paper is mentioned in the datesheet and will also be printed on the admit card.

Important Guidelines for Students

CBSE has issued a set of strict instructions to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams:

  • Devices such as mobile phones, calculators, and more are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.

  • Students must carry their admit card and a valid photo ID to the examination centre.

  • 15 minutes of reading time will be provided before the start of each paper.

  • Any violation of exam rules will lead to disciplinary action under the Unfair Means (UFM) policy.
