The Pearson Test of English (PTE) registration is conducted online by Pearson PLC Group. The registration window is open for the entire year, which gives flexibility to every student. Candidates can book their test slot just 24 hours before the exam. The slot booking process requires account creation on the PTE portal with accurate details like personal information, including their full name as it appears on their identification documents, typically a passport. After registration, students are required to submit INR 18000 for both PTE Core and Academic, while for UK Immigration and Visa tests, INR 15284 to INR 18000 amounts need to be paid online or via voucher. It is important to note that voucher payments are only applicable to the test fee and cannot be used for rescheduling, and no refunds are available for voucher-based registrations.
Step 1. Open the link www.pearsonpte.com to open the Pearson PTE.
Step 2. Then, myPTE user portal will pop up, click on the sign up or create account tab.
Step 3. The candidate will be redirected to the myPTE portal, enter the username and password they have already created an account or click on the signup button to create an account.
Step 4. To create a new account, enter a valid email ID and password, which should be at least 8 characters.
Step 5. To create an account, enter given name and surname as shown on passport, if there is no surname mention on passport, check the box to confirm.
Step 6. Provide the correct date of birth and choose the country location. Check the box, If a candidate wants to receive notifications via email.
Step 7. Book a test according to the country and location where the candidate wants to take the test.

PTE Exam Application Fee
PTE Exam Rescheduling Policy 2025 is a set of rules that are followed by the candidates if they want to reschedule their exam date without any applicable fee. This rescheduling can be done either by logging into the myPTE portal and clicking the "Reschedule" button or by contacting Pearson directly by phone. Candidates can only reschedule their test before 14 days or more; if there are few days left in the exam, then the candidate can only cancel their exam instead of rescheduling. Students can reschedule their exam only 6 times at most.
PTE Exam Cancellation Refund Policy 2025
The PTE exam cancellation policy is followed by the authority for managing test schedules and refunds based on the cancellation of booked slots. If a candidate cancels their test 14 or more days in advance, they will receive a full refund of their submitted amount. If cancellation is made between 13 and 8 days before the test, then they will only get a 50% refund. Similarly, if any slots have been cancelled, less than 7 days before the test, no amount will be refunded.
