The PTE Exam Pattern 2025 has three sections—Speaking & Writing (54-67 mins), Reading (29-30 mins), and Listening—with fewer questions and a reduced total test duration of about two hours to decrease fatigue while maintaining comprehensive language skill assessment.
The PTE 2025 scoring ranges from 10 to 90 points, using AI-driven scoring with enhanced pronunciation and tone assessment, alongside detailed section-wise feedback for more precise candidate evaluation.
There are three sections—Speaking & Writing combined, Reading, and Listening—each assessing multiple language skills through integrated tasks.
Two new tasks—“Respond to a Situation,†requiring real-life scenario responses, and “Summarize a Group Discussion,†involving summarizing multi-speaker conversations—have been added to better assess practical communication skills.
The total exam duration has been shortened to approximately two hours, down from three hours, to reduce candidate fatigue while covering all core language skills.
