The JELET admit card was released between 5th to 10th June 2025 on the official website. Once released, candidates had downloaded the admit card from the official website by entering their application number, password, and the captcha that is required along with it. The admit card is a necessary document and can only be used once, during the examination. 

After the candidates download the admit card, they need to check that all the details that are mentioned in the admit card are correct. These details include the candidate’s name, photograph, signature, roll number, application number, exam date and time, exam centre address, and more. Because if they are not correct, the admit card is of no use to them.

The JELET admit card in 2025 was released online between 5th to 10th June 2025, and the exam is a pen-and-paper exam that is conducted at various centres. It also contains all the important information related to the candidate who is going to take the exam, along with the exam centre name & address, timings, and more. Candidates have to reach the exam centre early on the exam day with their admit card and a valid identity proof so that they can give the exam. Below is a table showing all the JELET exam details:

The JELET admit card is used to get entry into the examination centre, and all the students who applied for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Lateral Engineering Test were issued the admit card five to ten days before the exam. Moreover, the candidates should ensure that their admit cards don’t get crumpled or distorted for some reason, because then students could not sit in the examination hall. Also, candidates had to remember to bring their admit card on the day of the exam; if they forgot, they were not allowed to take the exam.

How to Download the JELET Admit Card 2025?

Below are some of the snippets on how to download the JELET Admit Card 2025:

Step 1: Go to the official website: https://wbjeeb.nic.in/jelet/

Step 2: In the section of the Candidate’s activity board, candidates must click on the  ‘Download Admit Card link.’

Step 3: Once the link opens up, candidates have to enter their JELET 2025 application number and date of birth, and then click on ‘Submit.’

Step 4: The JELET 2025 admit card appears on the screen, and the candidates must verify all the information on it. If the information is correct, then candidates should download the admit card.

Documents to Carry with the JELET Admit Card?

  • Printed JELET Admit Card, along with a signed self-declaration form needed in some exams.

  • Passport-size photos

  • Disability Certificate

  • Photo ID proof such as an Aadhar card, PAN card, passport, voter ID, or driver’s license

  • Personal hand sanitizer and personal water bottle

  • Candidates must ensure that they are sure about the exact location of their examination centre and the means of commuting to avoid any inconvenience. 

  • No candidate will be allowed to enter any other centre than the one that is allotted to them.

  • If they are sitting for the exam in a centre that is different from the address given in the admit card, their paper will be cancelled.

  • Candidates must take their seats at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the test. 

  • No written or printed material, calculator, log table, wristwatch, mobile phones, any Bluetooth device, or electronic gadgets will be allowed to be taken inside the exam centre.

  • No candidate will be allowed inside the examination venue once the exam has started. 

  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam centre till the end of the exam, and all the OMR sheets will be collected by the invigilator.

  • Candidates are allowed to take his/her question booklet after the test.

How to Correct Discrepancies on the JELET Exam Admit Card?

If a candidate saw any errors or discrepancies in their admit card, they had to follow the steps mentioned below to change them.

Step 1: Candidates need to fill out a form related to discrepancies on the official website; they must thoroughly check and see if there are any mistakes. Once they single out the mistakes, they must visit the website to report them.

Step 2: Go to the official website: https://wbjeeb.nic.in/jelet/

Step 3: After the website opens, candidates searched for the link related to ‘Application Correction Form.’

Step 4: Once the candidate clicked on the link, it led them to another page opening up, and the candidate logged in using their credentials. 

Step 5: After that, candidates should correct all the things that are wrong in their application form and then click the ‘submit’ button.

Candidates must hold a Diploma in Engineering or Technology with a minimum of 45% for the general categories(40% for SC, ST, OBC, and PWD candidates).

The JELET entrance exam is for diploma and B.Sc. graduates in West Bengal who want to get admission in the second year of the Bachelor’s degree courses in Engineering, Technology, and Pharmacy.

Lateral entry in B.Tech is a method for diploma holders in engineering or related fields to directly enter the second year of a B.Tech program, bypassing the first year.

Candidates can download the JELET 2025 admit card from the official website by logging in with their credentials and downloading it.

Candidates should carry a valid photo identity card and a blue or black ballpoint pen as mentioned in the exam guidelines.
