The university offers courses in many fields like medicine, nursing, allied health sciences, pharmacy, management, and lots more. Some of the popular courses of university include MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharm, B.Tech CSE, BBA, BA LLB, MBA, MCA, etc. Admission is done as a mix of national-level entrance exams, university entrance tests, and merit-based selection based on the program.

For admissions in medical courses, the university follows the national regulatory rules. Admission to MBBS is through NEET-UG, and MD/MS admission is accepted through a valid NEET-PG score and the subsequent counseling process as per the schedule. Candidates in other UG and PG courses may get selected through the TSMUET entrance test and merit list. Students applying to tech-oriented programs like B.Tech may be considered CUET, UGAT or TSMUSAT scores, followed by academic qualifications. Additionally, the applicant must be at least 17 years old on 31 December.

Admission to a programme is only possible if the candidate fulfils the academic criteria for that programme. At the most primary need to meet the eligibility i.e. completion of 10+2 for diploma and undergraduate courses,  whereas relevant bachelor's and master's degrees are required for postgraduate and doctoral courses, respectively. Some courses also require a specific subject in a qualifying academic class. And, Ph.D. in Law candidates should have an LL.M. degree with the required minimum marks.

The university is strict in following a fair admission procedure starting from online registration and submission of the application form. Besides academic records, examination scorecards for entrance (in cases where applicable), and other relevant certificates should be uploaded by candidates. After that, university admission department faculty review applications and make a shortlist of candidates. The final enrolment is only considered after submission of course fees.

T.S. Mishra University Admission 2026

The T.S. Mishra University has an online portal that is used for admission into diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs. Admission to university is done based on an entrance exam for the related course or merit-based. To apply, candidates must register on the admissions website, verify their email, fill out the application form, upload any necessary documents and pay their application fee. After the application is submitted, the university's Admissions Committee will review it, and then they will make a decision regarding admission to the university.

Admission into specific programs will depend on compliance with the minimum requirements for that program as well as successful performance on the relevant entrance exam and adherence to university (or government)  policies. For example, MBBS candidates are admitted based on the results of the NEET-UG examination, while those who want to pursue MD/MS degrees must have a valid score from the NEET-PG exam and participate in the counselling process that is conducted under the supervision of NMC/Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Students applying for programs offered by the School of Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence, including B.Tech and other technology-oriented programs, may be exempt from taking the TSMUSAT (TS Mishra University Scholastic Aptitude Test) if they have received qualifying scores from the CUET or UGAT examinations. The School may also use academic performance and entrance exams, statements of purpose or interviews to determine admission. Additionally, admission to many other UG and PG courses is based on the TSMUET entrance exam score and the merit list.

Admissions to management courses like MBA are based on the standard process followed by the university, for which academic record, entrance examination scores, supplementary questions, and personal interviews are the components of the process.

In the rare case, the university also considers direct admission if a seat becomes vacant even after the entrance exam results. This could be in the circumstance when candidates are not able to appear in the exam. Such students' admission is referred through the Vice Chancellor, and they need to face an interview.
