For admission in the BA Hons LLB course at TNNLU Tiruchirapalli, ca andidate must meet the following minimum eligibility criteria:
Candidates must pass class 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) from a recognised Board.
Candidates must register for the CLAT examination and must achieve the minimum qualifying marks in the entrance exam.
Candidates who are appearing in the 10+2 board examination and whose results have not been declared must produce evidence of their passing marks before the last date of admission.

Tamil Nadu National Law University Tiruchirappalli course and fees are moderate, which costs around INR 1,01,955 per annum. The admission to the LLM course is based on the CLAT PG entrance examination. Candidates who want to get admission in the LLM course at TNNLU Tiruchirappalli must have a valid score card and qualifying marks in the CLAT PG examinations. In some specific courses, the candidates with a law degree and a Master's in social sciences or humanities with at least 55% marks are eligible for admission if their research topic is associated with Law.
