Sharda University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses based on some strict admission guidelines as per the admission norms of the campus. The following guidelines are followed while taking in admissions at Sharda University:
UG courses require candidates to have at least completed the 12th standard from any recognised board in India.
PG courses require candidates to have at least completed a graduation degree from a recognised university in India.
Foreign candidates must hold mandatory documents for admission equivalent to those of the examination of the country, as per the ‘Association of Indian Universities’.
Students seeking the final year results are also eligible for admission at Sharda University.
The university can reject the admission of the candidate based on the final Personal Interview (PI) & Group Discussion (GD).
Up to 5 years relaxation in age is allowed only for the PH/SC/ST category of students & up to 2.5 years for OBCs.
Minimum 75% attendance & above 7.5 CGPA is mandatory till the 6th semester to qualify for Hons./with a research degree.
Sharda University conducts SUAT to take admissions directly for the courses that involve score details of the national level entrance examinations, such as JEE/NET/CET. The Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) is an admission test applicable to all courses with general eligibility at Sharda University.
It is a computer-based online entrance test conducted by Sharda University.
The applying candidate needs to secure a minimum 35% marks to qualify for the SUAT exam.
A candidate can appear for the SUAT at the Sharda University campus/Sharda University Regional Offices/SUAT Exam Centres. Students can visit the official website for details regarding the SUAT exam centres.
Candidates whose Class 12th or final year graduation degree results are awaited can also appear for SUAT. However, their admission will be conditional, which will be finally confirmed after the reception of final exam scores.

A CLAT score of about 90% marks and above is needed for admission into the BA-LLB & BBA-LLB courses
