Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary (SGT) University is a reputed private university situated at Gurugram, Haryana. The university was established in 2013 under the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act. The University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been awarded with “A+” Grade by NAAC, advocating its academic and institutional excellence. SGT University Gurugram has more than 200 programs at UG, PG, Diploma and Doctoral levels in Engineering, Management, Psychology, Law, Nursing, Design and Health Sciences. All programs are accepting admissions for the academic year 2025-26. Among the UG courses, B.Tech (CSE), MBBS, BBA, B.Pharm, B.Des, and B.Sc in Psychology are some of the popular courses, whereas among the PG courses, MBA, M.Sc Nursing, M.Tech, and Master of Physiotherapy are available for the graduate students. The eligibility criteria of the UG programs are 50%-65% in Class 12 from a recognised board, and for PG courses, students require a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks. Some courses require entrance exams like JEE, NEET, CAT, or a university entrance exam. The fee is course dependent, and it is INR 30,000 to INR 5,00,000 annually. The application cost is INR 2500. SGT University Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025
SGT University provides admission to UG, PG, Diploma, and Ph.D. courses with respective eligibility to each level. In case of Undergraduate (UG) programs, the candidates should have passed Class 12 with at least 50-65 percent marks, depending on the course, in a recognised board. B.Tech applicants need a valid JEE Main score, or they have to take the university entrance test, whereas MBBS/BDS candidates can only take admissions through NEET. B.Des candidates will be required to pass a design aptitude test. Courses such as BBA, BA, and B.Sc are done on merit or an internal entrance examination. In case of Postgraduate (PG) courses, the candidate should have a relevant Bachelor's degree with a mark of 50 per cent. To get admission to programs such as MBA, a score in CAT, MAT, XAT, or the university test is needed. GATE or equivalent scores are used to get M.Tech admissions. The diploma programs require a minimum qualifying mark in Class 10th or 12th, and Ph.D. candidates need to have a Master degree and should qualify based on an entrance test and interview.
