Rungta University offers a variety of financial support options to its students by offering University Level Scholarship and Government and CSR scholarship. University-level scholarships help students reduce their tuition fees. Students can get these scholarships based on their marks, entrance exam scores, ranks and academic performance.
There are also scholarships for alumni, siblings and employees and their family members. Special scholarships are available for the children of defence personnel. Students who have good achievements in sports, are children of freedom fighters, or have a minimum of 40% disability can also get scholarships.

For students beyond the 50 free seats, 40% discount on total fees is provided. For 2025–26, proposed charges are INR 60,000 for food, INR 9,000 one-time charges (Dress, Enrollment, etc.) and INR 1,000 per year for Book Bank. Student insurance is not included/applicable for these students. |
CRPF Employees' Wards | 20 free seats are available for Engineering courses only, including food and applicable charges. In 2024–25, students paid INR 49,500 + INR 6,000. For students beyond the 20 free seats, a 40% discount on the total fees is provided. For 2025–26, proposed charges are INR 60,000 for food, INR 9,000 one-time charges (Dress, Enrollment, etc.) and INR 1,000 per year for Book Bank. Other Defence Personnel | 25% tuition fee scholarship is provided for the entire duration of the course. This benefit is available to the wards of serving Defence Personnel and martyrs. Eligible Defence Forces include: Military: Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard. Paramilitary: BSF, CRPF, SSB, CISF, ITBP, NSG and Assam Rifles.
