The Rungta Group of Institutions Bhilai Campus has set eligibility criteria for all diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, postgraduate diploma and Ph. D. programmes being offered at its campuses in accordance with the admission process. The eligibility required to be met in terms of academic qualifications and entrance examination requirements for the programme in which the candidate wishes to apply.

To be eligible for an undergraduate programme such as B.Tech, candidates generally must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised education board. For the professional programmes, such as B.Pharmacy, candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics as qualifying subjects. For the undergraduate programmes of BBA, BCA, and B.Com and other integrated programmes, candidates must complete 10+2 from a recognised education board. Generally, specialised programmes will have specific subject requirements for eligibility.

Candidates must hold a recognised bachelor's degree to apply for postgraduate admission. Most M.Tech candidates require either a B.E/BTech degree, and all prospective MBA students require a graduation certificate from any discipline. Relevant academic qualifications as designated by the University and its applicable regulatory bodies are necessary to apply for M.Pharma, MCA, MSc, LLM and M.Ed programs.

Entrance exams for admission into various programs are very significant, and Rungta University accepts national and state-level entrance exams, including JEE Main, CGPET, GATE, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, GPAT, PRE-MCA and similar tests that are relevant for individual courses. Those who apply under REST may be considered for admission and scholarships to programs that are eligible.

The Rungta Group of Institutions Bhilai Campus offers undergraduate programs in various fields, including engineering, computer science, information technology, management, commerce, and lots more. The Rungta Group of Institutions is accepting admission applications for its various B.Tech programmes in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mining Engineering, etc. Many of its programs are industry-specific partnerships, including Google, IBM, and EC Council for specialized B.Tech courses.

The admission to B.Tech programmes is managed by CTE Chhattisgarh through a counselling process. Candidates will be considered for admission if they have successfully passed the academic qualifying Examinations or any of the Entrance Examinations (e.g., JEE Main, CGPET, or other relevant government-prescribed admission criteria). Candidates desiring to pursue B.Tech and apply for lateral entry into the DTE Counselling Process must have a relevant diploma before applying and participating in the counselling process.

Candidates must have completed their 10+2 with 45% aggregate marks (or 40% marks for reserved candidates) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board of education, and score at least the minimum percentages required by the University Authorities. Eligible candidates can also seek admission through the institutional admissions process that is governed by university guidelines. Once Counselling has been conducted, candidates must have their documentation and corresponding fee submitted before being granted a B.Tech seat by merit order and availability. 

The Rungta University offers admission to post-graduation in various fields, including engineering, IT, management, pharmacy, life sciences, and law. The university has specialisations of master ’s-level graduate courses of study, including M.Tech, MCA, MBA, M.Pharmacy, M.Sc, LLM, M.Ed, and Executive MBA degrees. The objective of the postgraduate curriculum of these programmes is to prepare students for advanced study, develop professionally, and conduct research in their respective discipline areas.

Rungta Group of Institutions Bhilai Campus MBA Admission 2026

Rungta Group of Institutions Bhilai Campus offers MBA and MBA Global programmes through its School of Management & Commerce. The admission to these professional MBA programmes is conducted through counselling procedures conducted by DTE Chhattisgarh as well as through institutional admission processes. 

To be considered for MBA admission, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university and meet the minimum eligibility criteria established by the university, which is 50% academic marks (45% for reserved candidates). Selection for admission is made through a review of the scores obtained in accepted management entrance exams, i.e., CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA. Candidates may also apply through REST, based on the university’s admission rules. After qualifying through the admission process, shortlisted applicants will be required to verify their documents and pay any academic fees required before being admitted to the MBA program. The MBA yearly tuition fee at Rungta University ranges from INR 1.25 lakh to 3.0 lakh. 

The MBA Global program also places a strong emphasis on international business perspectives, provides students with global exposure, and exposes students to advanced management practices. The admission decisions for the MBA Global program will be based on the applicant’s performance during the entrance examinations, fulfilment of eligibility, and availability of seats.

The Rungta Group of Institutions is accepting admission applications for the academic session 2026-27 for its several courses through the university’s online admission page. The admission application process includes candidates' registration, filling in personal and academic details, selecting the course in which they are accepted, and uploading the required documents. 

Applicants must be sure to provide all information accurately and they should match the official documents. Based on the course in which they are applying, candidates should also need to pay the prescribed application fee. The application fee for REST is INR 1500 for nor research program and INR 2000 for the research program. After getting a review of the application submission, followed by counseling, document verification and fee submission, the final admission will be confirmed. 

Steps To Apply

Step 1: Online Application – Complete and submit the online application form through the university admission portal.

Step 2: Entrance Exam / Merit Evaluation – Candidates are evaluated based on entrance exam scores or qualifying examination merit, depending on the programme.

Step 3: Counselling / Interaction – Eligible applicants participate in counselling or an interaction session for course selection and admission guidance.

Step 4: Provisional Admission Offer – Selected candidates receive a provisional admission letter from the university.

Step 5: Document Verification & Fee Payment – Submit the required documents for verification and pay the prescribed admission fee.

Step 6: Admission Confirmation – Upon completion of verification and fee payment, admission is confirmed and enrollment is completed.
