NIT Goa has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell, which helps the students in their career enhancement and personality development. Training and Placement Cell regularly organises the Resume building sessions, Personality development workshops, mock interviews, etc, and also provides the exposure to the students by assisting them through the lectures, Tests, Competitions and Interviews.
NIT Goa has achieved an excellent Placement record for the academic year. Students of B.Tech and M.Tech courses have been placed in reputed companies. NIT Goa highest package offered was INR 35 LPA, and the average package offered was INR 9 LPA. NIT Goa Placement rate is around 75.83% and the placement rate of the Computer Science and Engineering department is 86.36%.
More than 127 students have been placed and above 200 offers have been received during the placement drive at NIT Goa in the academic year 2023-24. NIT Goa has had great placement records in the last few years. NIT Goa has a clear and student-friendly placement process. It helps students to get ready for jobs and supports them in placements. There are a few steps regarding the placement process in the NIT Goa:
The Training & Placement cell invites companies to the campus.
Interested companies fill out the Job Announcement Form and submit it to the Training & Placement Cell.
The Job Announcement Form is made available to students, along with company information like Package, Date and other details.
The resumes are made available to the companies for prior shortlisting.
Shortlisted candidates are notified prior to the campus selection date.
Placement Cell allots dates for campus interviews at the institute as per mutual convenience.
Companies visit the campus, take tests, interviews or GD, and furnish a final list of selected and waitlisted candidates to the placement cell.
Selected students receive job offers or letters from the recruiting companies based on their performance.
