Applicants who want to seek admission in M.Tech courses at NIT Goa must have a bachelor's degree in technology with at least 75% marks, followed by the marks and rank secured in the GATE examination and admission process is conducted by Common Counselling for M.Tech (CCMT). National Institute of Technology Goa offers a four-year B.Tech course in various specialisation programs such as Computer Science and Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, etc. NIT Goa B.Tech admission is based on academic marks and merit score in the JEE Main entrance examination.
For international students, counselling is done through the DASA scheme, which is based on the marks obtained in the JEE Main. Students must pass class 12 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as a core subject with at least 75% marks from a recognised board.
National Institute of Technology Goa B.Tech Admission with Fee Structure 2025
NIT Goa offers a full-time 4-year Bachelor’s of Technology course for the academic session 2025-26. Students should pass Class 10+2 with a minimum of 75% (65% for SC/ST) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects from a recognised Board. Students must qualify JEE Main examination with high marks and ranks to secure admission at NIT Goa.
The total B.Tech course fee at NIT Goa is INR 5,60,000 for the full-time course and students can pay these fees in instalments. Students have to submit an amount of INR 4000 as a security deposit, which is refundable. Admission for the B.Tech course is processed by JoSSA counselling and the CSAB special round. NIT Goa offers Doctoral programs in departments like Humanities and Sciences, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering. The total course fee of the doctoral program at NIT Goa is INR 1,44,000. The total duration of the PhD program ranges from 3 to 7 years.
Students having a Master's degree in Technology, M.E or equivalent with a qualifying score card of GATE examinations can apply for PhD courses. Students having more than 9 CGPA in the B.Tech course can also apply for PhD admission in NIT Goa. Shortlisted candidates will be further called for a written test and an interview conducted by the department. Admission to PhD programs generally occurs in December and July/August each year.
