NIT Durgapur offers B.Tech in specialisations such as Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. Along with this, NIT also offers a Dual degree in Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology.
M.Tech, Multidisciplinary M.Tech, MSc, MSW, MBA, and Integrated MSc are offered at the PG level. Admissions are based on merit and entrance exams such as JEE Main & JEE Advanced, GATE, CCMT, CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, IIT JAM, UGC NET, CSIR NET, and more.
Admission for the academic year 2025 is currently closed and will reopen in August 2026 (Tentative).

The National Institute of Technology Durgapur offers undergraduate programs such as B.Tech. To be eligible for B.Tech admission, students must have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 75% marks. Along with this, candidates need to qualify for the JEE Main Exam and appear for the JoSAA or CSAB counselling.

National Institute of Technology PG Courses With Fee Structure 2025
The Institute offers postgraduate courses such as M.Tech with different specialisations, such as Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and more. It also offers Multidisciplinary M.Tech such as Environmental Science & Technology and Operations Research.
For PG admission, candidates should have passed the B.E./B.Tech in Engineering or Technology, or a relevant Master’s degree in Science. The NIT Durgapur MBA first-semester tuition fee is INR 37,500.
