Candidates who want to get admission at NIT Durgapur should make sure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria given below:
Candidates applying for B.Tech admission should have passed Class 12th with a minimum of 75% marks in PCM. They also need to appear in the JEE Main exam and JoSAA counselling.
For the M.Tech course, candidates should have graduated with a minimum of 55% marks and appear for the GATE exam.
Aspirants should have completed their graduation with at least 50% marks for MBA admission. They also need to appear for management entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, or CMAT.
Candidates applying for the MSW course should have graduated by securing at least 50% marks. Selected candidates will need to appear for a written exam, GD, and a Personal Interview.
For the MSc course, candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% to 60% marks in the relevant field. They also need to qualify for the IIT JAM exam. Afterwards, they need to appear for the CCMN counselling process.
The Institute offers one undergraduate course, and that is the Bachelor’s in Technology (B.Tech). Along with this, students also learn through different specialisations such as Computer Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, and more. It also provides a dual degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology.

The Institute provides B.Tech in different streams, like Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biotechnology, etc. It also provides a dual degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology.
