NIT New Delhi Eligibility Criteria 2025
NITD offers BTech, MTech, and Ph.D programs for the academic year 2025-26. The institute accepts admission on the basis of recognised entrance exams, counselling, and interview (for Ph.D courses) sessions. For admission in the BTech program, candidates need to score valid marks in the JEE Mains and then JoSAA counselling.
On the other hand, admission for the MTech program is based on the candidate's performance in the GATE exam. Candidates shortlisted from the GATE exam have to appear for CCMT counselling. For the MCA program, the candidates with a valid NIMCET score will be eligible for admission at NIT Delhi.

Eligibility criteria
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks(55% for reserved categories).

Candidates must have a graduation degree in engineering to be eligible for the MTech program. The institute offers an MCA program that accepts the NIMCET score as the main criterion for admission. The fee for the MTech program is INR 37,000 per semester.
