The NIFT Navi Mumbai 2025 batch recorded encouraging talent measurement patterns, among them students being placed in top fashion residential properties and chains of merchandise stores. The highest offers were inflated to INR 6 LPA and the middle range was between INR 2 and 4 LPA indicating the rising need for competent designers and fashion managers.
Shoppers Stop, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, Raymond, FabIndia, Wills Lifestyle and Myntra were some of the main recruiters of design, merchandising, production and retail management positions. There are also internships that provide entry-level exposure to the industry with stipends reaching INR 1 Lakh/month that provide students some experience, and they are usually offered employment opportunities by their internship organisations.
The industry-oriented curriculum and live projects to be done by the NIFT Navi Mumbai meant that the students were adequately prepared to face the demands of the fashion industry, and the placements became more streamlined and focused on the skills and interests of the students.
At NIFT Navi Mumbai, students don’t have to worry too much about finances, as the institute offers scholarships for both factors, i.e., merit and financial need, for students aspiring to study in the fashion and design field. If you’ve done really well in the NIFT Entrance Exam (CAT + GAT) or got a strong academic record, you can get merit-based support.
There are also need-based scholarships for students who need financial help and special scholarships for women in design, differently-abled students, and defence wards. These scholarships mainly cover tuition fees and are renewed if you keep performing well, making it easier for talented students to focus on learning and building their fashion careers.
