Undergraduate (UG) programs: Applicants must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam from any stream. Admission depends on results from the NIFT Entrance Exam, including the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT), with a situation test to follow for design-related courses. For getting admission to UG Design programs, an entrance examination comprising a general ability test (GAT) and creative ability test (CAT). Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the entrance examination will take a situation test.

NIFT Mumbai B.F.Tech Admission 2025

Specifically for the UG Fashion Technology program, candidates take the General Ability Test (GAT) as part of the entrance exam. B.F.Tech candidates got shortlisted by the common general ability test (GAT).

NIFT Mumbai B.Des Admission 2025

Candidates who are planning to pursue B.Des will have to appear in a national entrance examination conducted by NIFT comprising a General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT). B.Des candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the entrance examination and will appear in a situation test.

NIFT Mumbai M.Des Admission 2025

For getting admission to the M.Des program, candidates must appear in an entrance examination comprising a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT). Shortlisted candidates of the entrance examination will undergo a Personal Interview (PI).

NIFT Mumbai M.F.M. Admission 2025

Admission to the M.F.M. program at NIFT Mumbai calls for a bachelor's degree in any field, with at least 50% marks overall. Applicants must also appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test (GAT) administered by NIFT. Personal interview is also a compulsory part, along with the GAT to secure a good rank in the admission process.

NIFT Mumbai M.F.Tech Admission 2025

• Then begin with registering for the NIFT online application.

• Filling in the personal details in the application form. Create a unique password to log in to the account, choose a security question with its answer, and write down the same for future references. 

b.) Note down the unique application registration number

• After successful registration, a unique application number will be generated. This application number will be required for subsequent logins and future correspondence, so keep it safe.

c.) Login Details:

• For future logins, anyone can access the account using the unique application number and the password created at the time of registration.

Step 2: Complete the Application Form

a.) Log in to Your Account:

• Use your application number and password to log in to your account and start filling out the application form. 

b.) Fill in the Application Details:

• Complete the form by entering:

• Personal Information (e.g., name, date of birth, contact details)

• Educational Qualifications (e.g., previous qualifications, marks)

• program Choices (the course(s) you are applying for)

Step 3: Payment of Application Fee

a.) Payment Option:

• Once the form is submitted, proceed to the fee payment section and select a suitable method.

b.) Finalise Payment:

• Adhere to the provided guidelines to execute the online payment.

• Once the payment is successful, a confirmation page will be generated at the last.

c.) Confirmation Page:

• Print or save the final page as a soft copy.
