Duration & Format
The programme is split into six terms, with each one lasting around three months.
Three terms make up the first year, and another three terms the second year.
Core (compulsory) courses run through the first four terms.

Curriculum
After finishing Term 3, students are required to do a summer internship for 8-10 weeks.
In the second year, students are allowed to take elective courses and may decide to concentrate in two areas at most. The areas could be Accounting & Finance, Operations Management, Marketing, Strategy, or Information Management.
If a student wants to be awarded a specialisation in one area, they have to take at least five electives (15 credits) in that area.
Students have an option to take from 14 to 17 elective courses, which together account for about 42-51 credits.
The CGPA is determined from the 14 best electives (42 credits) of a student.
The institute implements a continuous evaluation system. In this system, every course results in a letter grade with a grade point. The CGPA is the credit-weighted average of these points.
Eligibility Criteria
Both Class 10 and Class 12 candidates must have achieved at least 50% of the marks or an equivalent CGPA.
Applicants need to possess a Bachelor’s degree in any field from a university recognised by AICTE/AIU/Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
In the case of the PGDM, PGDM-HRM, and PGDM-Business Analytics programmes, the bachelor’s degree should be at least 3 years old, and the candidate should have at least 50% of the marks or an equivalent CGPA.
Students in the final year of their bachelor’s degree and who will fulfil all the requirements by 30 June 2026 are allowed to apply for PGDM, PGDM-HRM, and PGDM-Business Analytics. On the other hand, they are required to provide evidence of having passed their degree by 31 October 2026.
Candidates need to qualify for the national-level CAT entrance examination, and NRI applicants may apply on the basis of their valid GMAT scores.
MDI Gurgaon Courses- PGDM (Business Analytics)

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management- International Business (PGDM-IB) at MDI Gurgaon is a prestigious dual-degree programme that combines the best of India and Europe in one programme. It is offered in collaboration with two top European institutions, EM Lyon Business School and ESCP Business School, France.
The programme, which is designed to introduce the students to the world strongly, is imparted in India as well as in Europe. At MDI Gurgaon, students get started with their studies that mainly concentrate on giving the knowledge of management core subjects and also on developing analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
After that, they go to Europe and study at any of the partner campuses, where they introduce themselves to international management concepts and also complete a compulsory industry internship, which is mostly in Europe. The programme is completed with another term at MDI Gurgaon.

Total Duration- The PGDM-IB course takes 2 years to complete.
First Year (Initial Study at MDI Gurgaon):
Initially, students are at MDI Gurgaon for 2 terms (or 6 months).
The emphasis is on the basics and core subjects.

International Component (Middle Phase):
After the first year, students relocate to a foreign partner business school to complete their studies.

Also included is a compulsory industry internship, which is predominantly in Europe. It gives a worldwide exposure and hands-on experience.

The AICTE-approved PGDM-PPM (Public Policy and Management) program was conducted over 18 months at MDI Gurgaon. It has been supported by DoPT since 2006 and trains government functionaries in designing efficient and just public services. It equips officials in citizen-centric governance through 15 months of classroom learning and an additional 3 months of policy papers at the workplace.
Main highlights include interactions with policymakers and alumni from 22 ministries, theme-based workshops, a one-week involvement in a village for practical application of policies, and training in collective leadership and sustainable development.

The core courses are mandatory and develop a robust foundation in management studies, public policy, governance, and leadership. Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria are meant to ensure that applicants possess the necessary academic background and work experience for the program. Who qualifies: Government officers from All India Services (IAS/IPS/IFS), Central Services (all departments), State Civil Services, and State Administrative Training faculty.
Duration of service: Should have at least 5 years of service in Group 'A' (senior government posts) as of the date of the program.
Service left: Must have at least 3 years of service left after completing the 18-month program (to ensure the practical application of the training).
No recent long training in India: Should not have attended any training course of 12 weeks or more in India in the last 5 years before the program starts.
Restrictions on foreign training: There should not be any foreign training exceeding 2 weeks (last 2 years), 1 month (last 3 years), or 6 months (last 5 years) before the program start date.
For Self-Sponsored Applicants
Applicants must have achieved a minimum of 50% of the total marks or equivalent CGPA in both Class 10 and Class 12.

Eligibility for PGDM (Online) at MDI Gurgaon
Candidates have a minimum of 50% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.

Duration of Fellow Program in Management
The FPM Programme candidates have to complete the coursework in nine months (three academic terms).
After registration, scholars are required to finish the whole programme in 3 to 4 years.
If there are exceptional circumstances, the period for finishing the work can be extended to a maximum of 7 years, depending on the merit and a positive progress review by the FPM Committee.
Course Work Structure
This section is aimed at students to fill in the gaps of their essential knowledge of management areas, which might not have been sufficiently covered in their previous studies. Students must take the first-year courses of the PGDM programme, each of which lasts approximately three months. The conditions for the assessment and the completion of the courses are similar to those of PGDM students. After fulfilling this requirement, students are allowed to take FPM-level courses.
