Madhav University conducts more than 100 different courses in disciplines such as Law, Management, Engineering, Humanities, Pharmacy, Computer Application, and Education. Admission is mostly based on merit, but some of the programs, like PhD, also require admission scores on domestic tests and interviews.
Admission requirements differ for each course, with the reserved category of candidates being given a leverage. The minimum requirement of admission starts with Class 8, although some of the bigger programs, such as BA, B.Tech, and MA, require Class 10, 12, Bachelor's, or Master's marks.
At the UG level, passing Class 12 in the relevant subjects is mandatory. The PG applicants should have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 45% marks. For Diploma programs, scores of Class 12th, depending on the specialisation, are required.
PhD candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in the master’s degree and can be given preference when they possess scores of the exams like GATE, NET, and JRF.
Courses in ITI need Class 8 or 10 with certain specific subjects like Math and Science in technical courses.
For Undergraduate courses, MU offers many courses such as BA, B.Tech, BBA, B.Com, BHMS, LLB, B.Sc, BSc Nursing, etc. The UG courses are offered in the fields of Management, Medical, Nursing, Law, Engineering, Social Science and Engineering, etc. Admission is accepted through academic scores. Candidates can also get admission based on national test scores.
The course fees for the UG course start from INR 20,000 per annum and can go to INR 1,30,000 per annum, depending on the course. The admissions for various UIG courses are taking place. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can apply before the end date.
Eligibility criteria: Passing marks in Class 12th or a 3-year Diploma degree in case of opting for lateral entry.
For candidates who are interested in Engineering and Technology, MU offers B.Tech in several disciplines, such as Computer Science Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and in Data Science. To be eligible for BTech, candidates are required to have at least 45% in Class 12th from a PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) background. Candidates who have a JEE score can also apply.
Reserve candidates will be accepted if they have secured 40% in Class 12th. Candidates can get admission in the second year of B.Tech through Lateral entry, for which the minimum eligibility is having at least a 3-year Diploma degree. The fees to pursue a regular BTech course will range from INR 75,000 to INR 95,000.
Candidates who wish to pursue a PG course from Madhav University get the option to choose from a diverse range of courses. At the PG level, MU accepts admission to MA, MTech, MCom, LLM, MPharma, MSc, MPT, etc. Admission is based on scores achieved in a Bachelor’s degree. Candidates who have qualified through national-level entrance exams will also be considered. The admission for the academic session 2025 -2026 is open, and the last date to apply is September 2025 (Tentative). Eligible applicants can visit the official website and apply for admission before the application date closes. The annual fees for various PG courses range from INR 20,000 to INR 1,00,000.
Madhav University offers MTech in Software Engineering for students who wish to pursue higher studies in the Engineering and Technology field. Candidates who have a BE/ BTech degree or an equivalent Engineering degree are eligible for the MTech course. To become eligible, candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in a bachelor’s degree. The fees for M.Tech is INR 75,000 for one year. Admissions are open for the MTech course, candidates can apply for the same before the due date ends.
