Lamrin Tech Skills University is a private university that was established by the Punjab government and is located in Ropar, Punjab. The university has been recognised by the UGC. Apart from the recognition, Lamrin Tech Skills University is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). 

The LTSU is an industry-led skill university supported by Tata Technologies, Ansys Corporation, and IBM as anchor partners. Admission to Lamrin Tech Skills University is based on the results of the last academic examinations (merit-based). The following lists the minimal requirements for admission to each of the various courses available at LTSU:

• Students must have passed Class 12 from a recognised university for admission to DPharma and Diploma in Hotel Management.

• To be admitted to the MBA  programme Candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in any stream with at least 50% marks from a recognised university.

• For admission to the BBA program, candidates must have passed Class 12 in any stream from a recognised board.
