International Management Institute Delhi has mentioned its eligibility criteria for 2026 admissions across various programs. For full-time PGDM programs (General, HRM, and Banking & Financial Services), candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university, along with a valid score in CAT/XAT/GMAT. Final-year undergraduate students are also eligible to apply.
For online PGDM, candidates should have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in a university that is recognised by the AICTE/AIU/Ministry of HRD. This program is open to both graduates and working professionals. For the PGDM for Experienced Professionals, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, and work experience is mandatory.
IMI also offers a Fellow Program in Management (FPM). To be eligible, candidates must have a master’s degree or equivalent with required marks, which is 60% (55% for SC/ST) in a relevant field along with a valid score in CAT/GMAT/GRE/XAT/UGC NET, followed by a research proposal presentation and personal interview.

The placement season highlighted the close relations of IMI to corporations and the focus is industry-related learning. Students were placed in various fields such as finance, consulting, analytics, IT/ITES and retail. Most of them were also offered pre-placement on the basis of their performance in the internship. The Career Services team at IMI played a key role in providing skill-building workshops, mock interviews and personalised career guidance.
For the PGDM program IMI Delhi provides a tuition fee waiver to a small number of students. This waiver is only for students whose total family income is less than INR 8 lakh in the last financial year. Students must show valid income proof signed by a government authority. The institute chooses eligible students based on merit in the admission process. The final list is decided after the first term begins. The number of seats is limited and IMI Delhi’s decision is final.
For the full-time program, students get very strong financial support. They do not have to pay tuition fees or learning resource fees for the entire duration of the program. Every eligible student receives a monthly stipend of INR 65,000 for four years. They also receive a total of INR 90,000 as support for expenses such as research materials, data collection or software. The institute gives INR 1,20,000 to help students go to conferences and present their research. In addition, students can receive INR 2,00,000 more for each research paper published in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, if the paper is written with an IMI faculty member and follows the institute rules.
For the part-time program for academics, IMI Delhi offers partial financial support. These students get a 50% waiver on tuition fees and a 50% waiver on learning resource fees for the full duration of the course.
