Institute of Management Studies Indore was founded in 1969 under the aegis of the University of Indore for Management education. It is one of the top teaching departments of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore. The institute is accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC.

IMS Indore Eligibility Criteria 2026
IMS Indore offers Postgraduate, Executive, Integrated, and Research-level management programs with well-defined eligibility standards. For the MBA (Financial Administration, Marketing, HR, E-Commerce, Disaster Management, and Hospital Administration) programs, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) from a recognised university. Final-year students may also apply. Admission is typically done through CUET, followed by counselling.
Candidates must have a graduate or postgraduate degree with at least 45% marks and a minimum of five years of managerial/executive experience after graduation, or two years of experience after a postgraduate degree, to become eligible for the Executive MBA (2-year MBA). If the number of applicants exceeds available seats, the institute may conduct a written test and select candidates on merit.
For the Integrated MBA (5-Year) in E-Commerce or Hospital Administration, candidates must have completed 10+2 education with a minimum qualifying percentage as specified by the university during that academic cycle. Selection is based on university-level entrance procedures.
