Along with IMS Indore, IMS Ghaziabad and IMS Noida have also built a reputation for achieving excellent placement results for MBA students across leading sectors.
IMS Indore recorded a successful placement season in its most recent cycle, maintaining a strong placement record across its major MBA programs. Reflecting the overall strength of IMS Indore placement, the institute witnessed participation from over 50 reputed recruiters in domains such as Consulting, Banking & Finance, IT, FMCG, E-Commerce, and Healthcare.
Prominent recruiters included ACC, Abbott, Airtel, Amazon, Asian Paints, Axis Bank, Avtech and more, along with various startups and sector-specific firms. These companies recruited for roles in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Hospital Administration, and IT Services.
During the recent placement drive, IMS Indore achieved notable results, with the highest salary package offered to students being INR 18.5 LPA and the IMS Indore average salary package stood at INR 6.16 LPA. IMS Indore offers financial and scholarship support primarily through government‑administered schemes rather than internal proprietary scholarships. Students from disadvantaged categories, including SC, ST, OBC, and differently-abled applicants, can avail state and central government scholarship programs. These include support for disabled students, children of bidi or mine workers, and other reserved categories under the MP and Central Government scholarship schemes.
While IMS itself does not list institute-specific merit or need-based scholarships like XLRI, it enables students to apply and register for these government scholarship schemes directly via the institute portal. Applicants must complete the OBC registration form, provide necessary documentation, and link their Aadhaar and bank account details to avail benefits.
Additional support may occasionally come through university-level initiatives or state‑sponsored simplification processes, but there is no information available publicly on scholarships such as merit-based awards, leadership recognition grants.
IMS also coordinates with DAVV’s scholarship portal to facilitate submission and processing of applications for eligible students to national/state education boards, ensuring that economically weaker but eligible students can access financial support to pursue management education at IMS Indore.
