PGDM programs in Big Data Analytics, Healthcare Management, Banking Insurance & Financial Services, and a four-year full-time Doctor of Management degree are among the courses offered at the Goa Institute of Management. On the official GIM website, interested students can fill out the entire application form. Students must, however, meet a few fundamental eligibility requirements in order to be accepted into the program of their choice. Except for the PGDM BDA and International Double Degree in Analytics (IDA) programs, admission to GIM is determined by merit. Candidates who make the short list must pass the Written Aptitude Test (WAT), which is administered online. A bachelor's degree with at least 50% (45% for the reserved category) and a valid CAT, XAT, or GMAT score is required for admission to the PGDM program. The admission portal for the PGDM program is expected to start in January 2026.

Candidates interested in admission to GIM must first check the eligibility criteria for the courses that are mentioned below:
For admission to the PGDM course, students must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks with valid scores in CAT/XAT/GMAT.
To be admitted to the Hybrid PGDM program, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with not less than 50% marks with a work experience of at least 3 years.
Students interested in admission to the FPM residential program must have a master's degree or any equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks.
Aspirants must have a master's degree with 60% marks along with 10 years of work experience for admission to the FPM non-residential program.
Students must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% of marks and valid CAT, XAT, and GMAT scores to be admitted to the International Double Degree in Analytics (IDA) program. Candidates must also have a valid score on one of the following English proficiency tests: the TOEFL iBT (100 score), the IELTS (7.0 score), the CPE (grade C), the CAE (grade B), or the BEC (grade B).
After the shortlisting process, students must appear for the WAT, GAAT, and Interview, depending on the program's requirement, conducted by the GIM.

Academic Competence and Excellence Scholarship Scheme (ACCESS): 21 students of the BDA program are given scholarships of the amount INR 5,00,000.
Academic Competence and Excellence Scholarship Scheme (ACCESS): 7 students from the BIFS are selected for the scholarship with INR 5,00,000 each.
