CGC University Courses 2026 Overview
CGC University Mohali offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and PhD programs. It also offers programs under the Newton School and Meta School. Some of the courses offered by the University include B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc, B.Pharm, BBA, B.Com, B.Des, Bachelor of Physical Education & Sports, M.Tech, MCA, Master of Psychology, and more. The undergraduate course fee ranges from INR 30,000 to INR 1,15,000 per semester, while the postgraduate programme fee lies between INR 30,000 to INR 1,05,000 per semester, depending on the course and specialisation. To be admitted to UG and PG programmes offered by this university, candidates must have completed Class 12 and a bachelor’s degree, respectively, from a reputable board/ university.
The University also offers a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy. Students are required to pay INR 55,000 per semester upon admission to this course. Candidates should have passed exams, such as the Intermediate exam in science, the first year of a three-year degree course in science, the class 12th exam in science stream, the pre-degree examination, or any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India to be eligible for admission. Additionally, the University now also offers a Diploma in Yoga as well, which is a one-year course, and students have to pay INR 40,000 per semester.
To apply for the PhD programs, candidates should have completed a two-year Master’s degree or a four-year undergraduate degree with at least 55% marks (50% for the reserved category). M.Phil Degree holders can also apply with at least 55% marks. Additionally, final year PG students are also eligible to apply for the PhD programs.
On the other hand, students who want to get admission into UG & PG courses too must fill out the online application form, upload the necessary documents, and pay the necessary fees. The candidates also need to appear for the University’s entrance exam, CGCUET, to get admission into their preferred course. Currently, the admissions are open for the 2026-27 academic session.
