Anurag University Scholarship

Anurag University Hyderabad offers various scholarships to help talented and deserving students by paying for their education. The university mainly provides scholarships based on the entrance exam ranks, academic performance and government approved social categories. The aim of giving these scholarships is to reward talented students, help those who need financial support, and make education more available and affordable to each and every student.

Merit Scholarships (Based on Entrance Exams)

The students who score well in competitive entrance exams such as Anurag CET (Anurag Common Entrance Test), EAPCET and JEE can get tuition fee waivers. These scholarships are given to encourage students to perform their best in these exams and maintain good ranks.

Students who have secured top ranks in Anurag CET can receive up to 100% tuition fee waiver. Those ranks between 1–10 are eligible for 100% tuition fee scholarship, ranks 11–25 may receive 50%, and ranks 26–100 will receive 25% of tuition fee waiver.

Scholarships are also available for students who have secured good ranks in EAPCET or JEE. Those with outstanding ranks can get a full (100%) tuition fee waiver, while other ranks that qualify may get a 50%, 25%, or 10% tuition fee discount depending on their performance.

Moreover, students who have passed through Government Junior Colleges and got an EAPCET rank within the given range (up to 20,000 rank) will be granted a 50% of tuition fee concession.

Students who get admission with ranks between 1 and 500 may receive a free branded laptop from University, but only if they meet certain rules and eligibility conditions set by the university.

Continuation of Merit Scholarship

The scholarship will be granted at the time of admissions. To continue the scholarship every year, the student must maintain a minimum CGPA of 8.0 and should not have any backlogs in the previous semester or academic year. If the student fails to meet these academic requirements, the scholarship may be cancelled.

Other Scholarships

Students with disabilities will not have to pay examination fees.
The top student in each class will receive a cash prize of INR 5,000.
The best student in each branch will also get a INR 5,000 cash prize.
The overall top student of the entire school will be awarded ₹10,000.
Each school’s top student will receive the Sri Palla Raghava Reddy Memorial Gold Medal.
The university will offer fee discounts, scholarships, and financial help to talented and financially needy students as decided by the university management from time to time.

Government Scholarships (Social Category Based)

Anurag University also follows government norms for fee reimbursement for eligible students.

Students belonging to SC and ST categories can receive full tuition fee reimbursement if their family income is below INR 2,00,000 per year, as per government rules.

Students from BC, EBC, and Minority categories can receive tuition fee reimbursement if their family income is below INR 1,00,000 per year.

To continue receiving government scholarships, students must maintain at least 75% attendance as per regulations.

Terms and Conditions

The scholarship applies mainly to tuition fees. To continue the scholarship, students must maintain good academic performance, have no backlogs and maintain required attendance in the entire previous semester. If a student fails in any subject or does not meet the academic requirements, the scholarship may be withdrawn. The university reserves the right to modify or cancel scholarships as per its policies.
