The SSC JE Exam 2025 and Selection Process
The SSC Junior Engineer (JE) Exam is a national-level recruitment test conducted for selecting Diploma or Degree holders in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering for Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted posts in government departments. The selection process includes two stages: Paper I and Paper II, both computer-based examinations.
Paper I tests general intelligence, reasoning, general awareness, and engineering discipline; while Paper II is a technical exam based on the specific engineering stream. Candidates who qualify for both exams are then shortlisted for document verification. Final selection is based on performance in both papers and fulfilling eligibility criteria, including medical and document checks.
