Application fees for the RRB NTPC examination based on the candidate’s category is provided below:
General/OBC:- INR 500 (INR 400 is refunded after appearing in the CBT 1 exam)
SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen/Female Candidates:- INR 250 (fully refunded after appearing in the CBT 1 exam).

RRB NTPC 2025 Document Specifications
Candidates applying for the RRB NTPC examination must adhere to the following document specifications:
Photograph:- The colour photo should be a recent one, with the background being light or white. The format of the image should be JPEG only, and the file size should be between 20 KB to 50 KB.
Signature:- The candidate's original signature should be scanned, that is made on a white sheet of paper with a black ink pen. The size of the JPEG image file should be between 10 KB and 40 KB.
Other Documents:- Additional documents, such as caste certificates (SC/ST/OBC-NCL), income certificates for fee exemption, or disability certificates (PwBD), must be uploaded in the prescribed format as specified by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
