PU-CET 2025 Application Form

The PU-CET application process for the UG courses was open on the official website from 21 March to 24 April 2025. The dates for PU-CET (PG) application form were 23 April 2025 to 2 June 2025. To apply for the PU-CET 2025 exam, candidates need to register online on the Panjab University website, pay the fee, complete the application form, upload required documents, and then download their admit card after 7 May 2025. The application fee for the PU-CET Application ranges between INR 540 to INR 2710, depending on the candidate’s category and subject chosen. 

Below is a step-by-step guide to help candidates fill out the application form for the PU-CET Exam:

Step 1: Visit the official website at puchd.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on Register or New User? Register Here link. 

Step 3: Provide basic details like name, email ID, and phone number. 

Step 4: Note down your login credentials (Login ID and Password) as they will be sent to your registered email ID. 

Step 5: Log in to your account using the provided login credentials. 

Step 6: Pay the application fee online through debit/credit card/net banking. 

Step 7: Now, carefully fill in all the required details in the application form, including personal details, academic qualifications, and course preferences.

Step 8: Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature in the specified format and size. 

Step 9: Completely review your application form for any errors.

Step 10: Click on the Submit or Confirm button. 

Step 11: Download your admit card after the specified date from the official website. Also, remember to bring a photo identity proof (like Aadhaar card, Voter ID, etc.) to the examination center. 

NOTE:- Candidates must ensure that all the details are filled in accurately and match the original documents.

PU-CET 2025 Application Fees

The candidate is required to upload a scanned passport-size photograph and signature during the application process, and bring a photo ID (like Aadhaar, Voter ID, etc.) to the exam center on the exam day. The following is a detailed list of documents needed for the PU-CET Exam:

1. During Application:

• Scanned passport-size photograph.

• Scanned signature.

• Ensure all the details are filled correctly.

2. At the Examination Center:

• Print out your PU-CET admit card and bring it to the exam center. 

• Carry a valid photo ID proof like Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport. Without a valid photo ID, the candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

• Caste certificate (if applicable).

3. During the Admission Process:

• Class 10 and 12 mark sheets

• PU-CET Rank Card

• Seat Allotment Letter

• Bachelor's Degree Mark Sheet (if applicable)

• Passport-sized photographs.

• Original documents and photocopies.

In addition, the candidate may need to take the other certificates as well, such as a character certificate, a medical certificate, a migration certificate, etc.. It is because some of the colleges might require this for the admission process. Candidates who are NRI/Foreign Nationals need to provide an eligibility/equivalency certificate from the Deputy Registrar (General), Panjab University, Chandigarh or Academic certificates of passing the qualifying examination. 

PU-CET 2025 Application Correction Window

The Panjab University's official notification mentions that no corrections or changes will be entertained after the online application form submission. Hence, Candidates are advised to carefully review their application form before submitting it to avoid any errors or issues.
