NMIMS-MST Exam 2025: The NMIMS-MST exam was conducted in two phases, and the online registration for Phase 1 started on 20 February 2025 and Phase 2 on 27 March 2025. NMIMS-MST (Nilkamal School of Mathematics, Applied Statistics & Analytics) is the admission test for admission to undergraduate courses in Data Science, Applied Statistics & Analytics, and Applied Mathematical Computing at NMIMS, specifically meant for students after 12th grade. 

The programs covered in the NMIMS MST Exam 2025 are B.Sc. in Data Science, B.Sc. in Applied Statistics & Analytics, and B.Sc. in Applied Mathematical Computing. The students who have passed their Class 12 are eligible for the NMIMS MST exam.

NMIMS-MST, or the NMIMS Mathematical Science Test, is the entrance exam for undergraduate programs in Data Science, Applied Statistics & Analytics, and Applied Mathematical Computing at the Nilkamal School of Mathematics, Applied Statistics & Analytics at NMIMS. 

The online registration process for the NMIMS MST exam began on 20 February 2025 and is open till 26 May 2025. The NMIMS MST Exam 2025 was held from 1 March 2025 to 31 May 2025 in an online, computer-based test mode. Meanwhile, the application process and exam for NMIMS MST Phase 1 have already ended on 26 and 30 March 2025, respectively. Candidates also need to pay the application fee of INR 2000 to complete the online registration process.

The NMIMS MST exam is mainly for candidates who want to pursue these programs within the NSOMASA. NMIMS also conducts other entrance exams like NPAT (for BBA, B.Com, etc.), NMST (for Engineering and Pharmacy), and NLAT (for Law). 

Moreover, the NMIMS MST exam includes 3 sections: Mathematics/Statistics, Logical Intelligence, and Verbal Reasoning, with a total of 120 questions to be completed in 100 minutes. NMIMS-MST Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed the Class 12th exam from any recognized board. In addition, the candidate requires a minimum of 45% marks in the 12th class examination, with Mathematics and Statistics as one of their subjects. Students who are still in their 12th class can also apply for the NMIMS MST Exam 2025.

Apart from this, candidates with an International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB Certificate or DP or CP) with 24 credits compulsory and have passed 3 subjects at Higher Level (HL) and 3 subjects at Standard Level mandatorily from any stream are eligible to apply. 

The application form for NMIMS-MST 2025 was available online on the official website of NMIMS. Since the NMIMS-MST is held in two phases, the application process for Phase 1 commenced on 20 February 2025, and the deadline for the application was 26 March 2025.

But those candidates who were unable to appear in the examination of Phase 1 may opt for Phase 2 registration. The application process for NMIMS MST Phase 2 remained open till 26 May 2025. Candidates may log on to the official website of NMIMS, register, fill in the application form, upload required documents, submit the application fee of INR 2000, and select a test date and centre to register for the NMIMS-MST Exam 2025.

The NMIMS-MST 2025 Phase 1 admit card was available to download from the official website until January 2025, and the examinations took place between 1 - 30 March 2025. While the Phase 2 examination took place from 31 March - 31 May 2025, the admit card was released after scheduling the exam.

Additional information regarding the NMIMS-MST Application Process:

  • No registration cancellation is allowed.

  • The registration fee is not refundable and non-transferable.

  • Candidates can not request to change the exam category or add a school in the same category after the exam.

  • The candidate’s score in the NMIMS-MST Exam will decide the Merit list.

  • Candidates can give a maximum of 2 Retakes in any selected category.

NMIMS-MST Exam Structure

The NMIMS-MST exam is an entrance test for UG programs in the NSOMASA and consists of three sections. NMIMS-MST 2025 Admit Card

The NMIMS MST 2025 admit card was released a few days before the exam. While the NMIMS MST Phase 1 exam was over on 31 March 2025, the exam for Phase 2 was conducted from 31 March to 31 May 2025.

Once released, candidates can download their admit cards by logging into their dashboard on the official NMIMS website. Post scheduling of the examination, the confirmation mail from the conducting authority will be sent to the candidate's registered email ID.

NMIMS-MST 2025 Exam Results

The NMIMS MST (Mathematics, Statistics & Analytics) 2025 results were released in the first week of June. Candidates can check their results by logging into the official NMIMS website using their NPAT ID and date of birth. 

Later, when the NMIMS MST 2025 results were announced, qualified candidates were invited for individual counseling sessions at the NMIMS campus, where they had to report for seat allocation, document verification, and payment of admission charges.

Candidates will also need to submit their original documents for verification during the counselling process. Therefore, they must ensure that they have their NMIMS MST admit card and scoreboard ready for the counselling procedure. 

Also, candidates should keep in mind that if they are not shortlisted in the initial merit list, they may still get the seat. For this, the NMIMS maintains a waitlist, which helps the candidates get the seats if they become available after the document process is done.

While there are no official announcements for the NMIMS-MST cutoffs on the official website, the admissions are based on merit lists. The merit lists are based on candidates’ MST scores, the counselling process, and performance in other rounds. Besides, the academic records and relevant work experience of the candidate may also be given preference.

The official release date for the merit list of NMIMS MST Phase 1 is 22 April 2025, and for Phase 2, it was declared in the first week of June 2025.
