Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Exam 2026 offers admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programs for the session 2026-27. JMI Entrance Exam online registration started on 20 February 2026 and the last date to fill out the application form was 25 March 2026. UG Eligibility Criteria:

• B.Tech: Admission is based on JEE Main scores. Candidates must have completed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

• B.Arch: Requires NATA scores and a class 12 qualification with Mathematics as a subject.

• B.A. (Hons): Candidates should have passed class 12th with 50% marks.

PG Eligibility Criteria:

• M.A.: Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks.

• M.Tech: A B.Tech degree in a relevant field with 55% marks.

Diploma and Certificate Courses:

• Diploma in Tourism: Requires 10+2 qualification with at least 45% marks.

• Certificate in Urdu: Open to all with a basic qualification of 10th grade.

Specialized Programs:

• B.D.S.: Admission is through NEET scores.

• Law (LL.B): A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with 50% marks

Jamia Millia Islamia released the online application form to conduct the entrance exam for the 2026-27 academic session for admission into various UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate courses. The JMI Application Form 2026 was released on 20 February 2026, with the deadline to submit the form of 25 March 2026 and applicants can register online by visiting the official website @jmi.ac.in. JMI application form fee is INR 700 for general courses and INR 1000 for special courses, engineering, mass communication, etc.

Step 1: Visit the official website: https://jmi.ac.in/ 

Step 2: Candidates need to create an account using their personal details like email ID and mobile number. 

Step 3: Log in again by using your credentials and fill out the application form with personal information and required courses.

Step 4: Upload the scanned copies of required documents like passport-size photographs and signatures.

JMI Entrance Exam Syllabus 

The JMI admit card will be released on 17 April 2026 and the entrance exam will begin on 26 April 2026. Students should take a printout of their admit card, and they must carry this document to the examination hall. If the candidates don’t carry the admit card to the examination venue, they will not be able to take the exam. Moreover, the Admit Card is needed as it serves as identity proof and it carries details like your name, DOB, roll no, and more.

To download the admit card, follow these steps to download:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia.

Step 2: Candidates must log in using their registered email ID and mobile number.

Step 3: Click on ‘Download Admit Card” available on the dashboard

Step 4: Once downloaded, candidates should check that their admit card has the following details, such as their name, roll number, photograph, sign, exam date, exam center and the course they applied for.

Step 5: Now, save and download the admit card.

JMI Entrance Exam Answer Key

JMI Entrance Exam 2026 Answer Key will be available in July 2026 (Tentative) and candidates can download the answer key from the official website. With the help of this answer key, candidates can cross-check their responses, estimate scores, and raise objections if any discrepancies are found within the time limit. However, the answer key correction has been closed now.

JMI Entrance Exam Result 

JMI Entrance Exam will be conducted on 26 April 2026 and the results will be released in July 2026 (Tentative). The results or scorecard of the JMI entrance exam will contain your score, rank and qualifying status.
