JMI Entrance Exam 2025 is a university-level test conducted by Jamia Millia Islamia University, located in New Delhi, India. The JMI exam is done to take admission to a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs in various streams like media, engineering, management, law, and sciences. 

JMI Entrance Exam Application form was released on 05 March 2025 and the last date to submit an application form is 10 April 2025 for the year 2025. The entrance exam of JMI is conducted in offline mode, and the duration varies from 1 hour 30 minutes to 3 hours depending upon the course. JMI also accepts scores from national-level exams like JEE Main, NATA, and CUET for limited programs like B.Tech, B.Arch, and some selected programs.

Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Exam 2025 offers admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programs for the session 2025-26. JMI Entrance Exam online registration started on 05 March 2025, and the last date to fill out an application form is 10 April 2025. The JMIEE correction window will open on 12 April 2025 and go up to 14 April 2025. JMIEE will start conducting the exams from 26 April 2025.

To be eligible for JMIEE, students need to pass 12th class for UG and bachelor degree for PG from a recognized university. 

JMI Entrance Exam 2025 Important Dates

UG Eligibility Criteria:

• B.Tech: Admission is based on JEE Main scores. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• B.Arch: Requires NATA scores and a 10+2 qualification with Mathematics as a subject.
• B.A. (Hons): Requires 10+2  certificate with 50% marks. If you have any special subject then it may have additional requirements.

PG Eligibility Criteria:

• M.A.: Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks
• M.Tech: A B.Tech degree in a relevant field with 55% marks

Diploma and Certificate Courses:

• Diploma in Tourism: Requires 10+2 qualification with at least 45% marks.
• Certificate in Urdu: Open to all with a basic qualification of 10th grade.

Specialized Programs:

• B.D.S.: Admission is through NEET scores.
• Law (LL.B): A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with 50% marks

Jamia Millia Islamia has released the online application form to conduct the entrance exam for the 2025-26 academic session for admission into various UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate courses. JMIEE Application Form 2025 was released on 05 March 2025 with the deadline to submit the form of 10 April 2025. The applicants can register online by visiting the official website www.jmi.ac.in. JMI application form fee is INR 700 for general courses and INR 1000 for special courses in engineering, mass communication, etc.

Candidates who want to apply and register online for JMI Entrance exam, need to follow the steps given below:

Step 1: First, visit the official website which is the JMI portal.

Step 2: Now you need to create an account using your personal details like your email ID and Mobile number.

Step 3: Log in again by using your credentials and fill out the application form with personal information and required courses.

Step 4: Upload the scanned copies of required documents like passport-size photographs and signatures.

Step 5: Pay the application fee online using credit/debit cards, net banking, or UPI.

JMI Entrance Exam Application Fees

JMIEE admit card will be released on 17 April 2025, and the JMI will start conducting the Entrance exam on 26 April 2025. Students should take out the print of their Admit card and have to carry this document to the examination hall. The Admit Card is needed as it serves as identity proof and eligibility as it carries details like your name, DOB, roll no. and more.

For the Admit card, follow these steps to download:

Step 1: First, visit the official website which is the JMI portal.

Step 2: Log in using your registered email ID or Mobile number

Step 3: Click on ‘Download Admit Card” available on the dashboard

Step 4: Now check that your admit card has details like your name, roll number, photograph, sign, exam date and center, exam center and the course you applied for.

Step 5: Now save and download the admit card.

Documents to Carry on Exam Day

• Printed copy of the Admit Card
• Valid ID proof
• Passport size photographs

JMI Entrance Exam 2025 Answer Key will be released after the exams on the official JMI portal, and the expected date to release the answer key is in the last week of April*.  The Answer Key allows candidates to cross-check their responses, estimate scores, and raise objections if any discrepancies are found within the time. 

JMIEE will be conducted on 26 April 2025 and the results of JMI Entrance exams are expected to be released in May 2025*.  The results of JMIEE will contain your score, rank and qualifying status. Candidates who pass the results will go further into the counselling rounds. Students have to follow these steps to check the exam result:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the JMI entrance exam.

Step 2: Login using your credentials 

Step 3: Go through the ‘Results” section and select your course.

Step 4: Download and save it.

After the results are announced, the university will release the official cutoff list. Cutoff marks for the JMI Entrance Exam 2025 will be released in the first week of June 2025*. This list will indicate the minimum marks required for admission to each program.
